A FINE Snow Day!!!!!!

Well, guess what, I know you're thinkin' what I'm thinkin', 'cause you must've read the title! You,re probably right, it's a SNOW DAY!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! So, here's what I've been doing at home: making and testing LEGO Mindstorms robots, for Robofest (Our next meeting is tomorrow!!!!), watching some cartoons, and playing with my brother, Ashwin. If you don't know what LEGO Mindstorms or Robofest are, then I'll explain it. Robofest, is a competition where different people from different parts of the world, test their robotic creations, to see who has the best robot with the best quality of programmed ability. However, LEGO Mind storms, is something that you can use for competing in robfest. LEGO Mindstorms is where you can try building and programming sample robots, or make your own design using the robotics kit given. Overall, robotics is a very fun subjest in technology. Anyway, that is most certainly not the main idea of this post. So, where was I??? Oh, yes MY SNOW DAY!!!! My plans for the rest of the snow day are: going outside, and building a snowman, cleaning the house for the visitors coming tomorrow (for Robofest), working out ( going on the tredmill, doing pullups, using my medicine ball, doing shoulder touches, doing pushups, etc. Finally I will brush my teeth, go to my bed, and drift off into a warm, cozy deep sleep. Zzzzzzzzzz.....ZZzzzzzzzzzzz........ Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Superbowl Sunday!!!!!!!

I know that I haven't been blogging for quite a bit of time now. Starting today, I will make sure that I post at least one blog post every week. That's a promise!!! :). Now where was I??? Oh yes, IT'S THE SUPER BOWL!!!!! I'm really excited to watch it this evening!!!! To tell the truth, I hope the 49ers beat the Baltimore Ravens. Although I do think the Ravens are a pretty good team! Speaking of Michigan's team, the Detroit Lions, One of my favorite quarter back players is Calvin Johnson, and one of my favorite wide receivers is Matthew Stafford (note: this is only for the Lions). Mostly, me and my dad watch the sports together, and that makes sense because my mom is not that interested in sports. Oh, and once again, GO 49ERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spring Break is Starting!!!!

I can't believe it! Spring break is actually starting! To tell you the truth, I really can't wait for it. The sad thing is that we only get about 1 week.

As a matter of fact my grandma just today arrived at airport all the way from India. She's at my house now. In a few days, I bet she's gonna have a bit of trouble with my brother because he is pretty naughty.

Over the break, I am planning to master the basics of roller skating. I take classes at Skating Station II(2). I'm goi

Thing 2 has Arrived!!

Relating to Dr.Suess, I was a Thing 1 so far. 10 years later, my wish came true! I'll bet you know what my wish was. You're right! It's a sibling! I actually got a Thing 2! The only thing is that my Thing 2 is younger than I am. 9-10 years younger actually! By the way, my bro's name is "Ashwin". We call him "Little Chum" because he's pretty cute. Right now, he is a ten-month old, but acts as a ten-year old. I'll explain why. One morning, while I was sleeping, he woke up first, came up to me, started scratching me, drooling on me, bumping me with his head, and sometimes biting me and it didn't feel good at all! He even yelled softly and I had no choice, but to wake up! He has a pretty cute smile and pretty much looks kind of like Roger Federer, especially his smile(he doesn't usually show his teeth when he smiles). By the way, I got him about ten months ago and I should have posted this near to when he was born which is Sunday, May 1, 2011. I remember that day very clearly. It was a
beautiful sunny day with slight drizzle. I was too busy preparing for a NFS spelling bee. We all went together since the hospital was near to the spelling bee place. When I came out, my dad came and told us that Ashwin was born. I couldn't wait to see him. My dad told me he was the first person who saw him.

Another thing is that when I was a baby, I was way more careful than Ashwin. He likes to go on dangerous adventures in the house, and doesn't notice how big he is. He thinks he can climb the Eiffel Tower, when he is only 29.5 inches tall! He's pretty adventurous for a baby, but sometimes his adventures turn into troubles when falls down, hits himself and cries and it sometimes becomes a disaster. Overall, he's a pretty fun person to play with! He's aggressive when it comes to playing rough and he has a huge a appetite when it's breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only thing is that he doesn't sleep a lot and he plays more.

Latitude and Longitude!

Latitude and longitude are two awesome ways to locate places. I learned about them earlier in the school year in September. I like how the globe is filled with lines of latitude and longitude. Zero degrees latitude is the Equator and 0 degrees longitude is the Prime Meridian. The Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn are both a little close to the Equator. The Tropic of Cancer is above the Equator and the Tropic of Capricorn is below the Equator. There is a poem about latitude and longitude, but I don't know the whole thing. I'll try to find out and if I do I will put it in the blog. The latitude and longitude tests I got were really easy because I studied it a lot.

by the way this is my poem about L&L

When you are growing tall, you are growing longitude,
when you get lazy and get fat, you are growing latitude

I like Saturdays and Sundays!!!

Why ? you may ask. Well here is why. I might say that Saturdays and Sundays are my favorite days of the week. Why again, all I can say is no school for 2 days and no home works and now all days no swimming either. Did you know that Saturdays and Sundays are a week end? On weekends you can take rest. Usually I go and buy ice cream on Sundays. On Saturdays I usually play video games. Also I read Calvin and Hobbes. Now I am reading “The indispensable Calvin and Hobbes”. I finished Calvin and Hobbes the 10th anniversary book a month ago. Calvin loves Week ends too. He says on Sundays he has a bad feeling because of the thoughts of Monday coming the next day. He uses a lot of big words. For raining he says it is precipitating out side. Actually I say the same thing too. I learned words like atmosphere and aspiration recently. Now I am aspiring for super smash bros. Brawl. It is a new WII game. The problem is that it is for teenagers. Did you know that there are letters that says who can buy what? Okay, I made this word CEETMA. C for child. E for everyone, E10+ for 10 and higher. T for teenagers, M for mature and A for adults. I wish Santa wouldn’t mind that it is in my list. That is all for Today. More Later.

First is the BEST

My Dad says I have to be the best in what ever I do. Hmmmmmmm..that is very hard. So I made this poem.

First is the WORST
Second is the best
Third is a bird with a treasure chest!!!

Fourth goes to north
Five is next to fourth
Six is the one gets chicken broth!!!

Seven is heaven
Eight is height
Nine is the one says we are all fine!!!

So my point was they are all ok and easy to be even a nine.
But I had to change my poem after my Dad heard it - The first line changed to "First is the BEST"

His peom was very short and it just said

First is the BEST
The rest are just waste!!!
